Key-locking Screw Thread Inserts
Screw thread insert is a connecting part with its own internal and external general screw thread, including "key-locking" and "self-tapping".
FEATURES: General-purpose threaded inserts with a thick, heavy-duty thread wall, suitable for most applications. Key Inserts are ideal for thread reinforcement, especially when the mating stud or bolt will be removed frequently. They provide strong, permanent steel threads in almost any parent material, ferrous, non-ferrous, or non-metallic. Key Inserts are also well suited for quick repair of stripped, damaged, or worn threads. Locking keys positively prevent the insert from rotating.
It is convenient to process a base hole with standard drills and taps; It is easy to install with simple tools or by manual; install fast and link reliably.
Installation
The key-locking insert has two or four key slots, within which there are keys. First, drive the insert into the pre-cutting hole of workpiece manually. Next, peen the keys into screw thread. After being driven into workpiece, the locking keys interfere with internal screw thread, which fastens the screw thread insert in thread of materials firmly.
